Brendan was very professional and friendly as was his assistants Hunter and Dallas. They took care of cleaning up and milling a large red oak that had recently fallen in our field. Brendan utilized the logs for the best outcome and left us with all the pieces we’d hoped for. They look wonderful and we’re excited for them to dry so we can ultimately turn them into the furniture and the projects of our dreams. Brendan did a fantastic job. He was very responsive to our initial contact and scheduling; much more so than any other sawmill we contacted. The whole day was a great experience and produced some great lumber to build our garage for our cabin in Western Maryland. Searched quite a while to find a mobile sawmill service and Log to Lumber did not disappoint. Enjoyed getting to participate with these hard working Americans, Brendan and his crew were great. I had some previous experience with Woodmizer mills and it was apparent right off the bat that Brendan was very skilled with the mill. His senior hand Dallas was also very dialed in and helpful. Log to Lumber has been fantastic in providing us with high quality slabs at a great price for many of our projects and furniture that we use in our short term rentals. Guests absolutely love and always ask where our coffee tables, end tables, desks, and other finished products come from. It's become a hobby for us to take the cut pieces from Log to Lumber and turn them something that differentiates our aesthetic with guests. We'll definitely be back!

Brendan with Log to Lumber was incredible! His knowledge about his mill was above and beyond. He didn't just throw the logs up there and begin milling away but actually took the time to take into consideration what the wood was going to be used for and getting the most and best out of each log. I had Brendan come out and mill a walnut tree on my property. He showed up early, was very efficient at cutting, and was a wealth of knowledge by providing some useful tips on how to stack, store, use, etc. He was very particular about making sure the trunk was positioned the best way possible in order to maximize the beauty of the walnut grain for the slabs. If you decide to use him, know that you'll have to book a couple months in advance as his work is exceptional so he fills up fast. I would absolutely have Brendan come out again and mill another tree.

Brendan certainly knows his stuff! I contacted Log to Lumber in late November about milling 30+ logs,from 5 to 11 feet long. I got on his schedule in early December and we spent a day and a half making beautiful lumber! He is a master at the controls of his large and efficient mill, and made great and appreciated suggestions about various sizes of boards to consider. His two crew members were both adept on the skid loader, placing logs on the mill, keeping sawdust under control, and delivering stacks of boards to my storage location about a hundred feet away. He used off cuts and one of my smaller logs to make great stickers.<br>A great experience, and looking forward to getting started with the lumber!

Brendan is such a dependable person - and hard worker. He always gets the job done. He's helped take down problem trees for me and recently cleared a low grade bridge of substantial debris (tree trunks etc) for our community within just an hour or two of reaching out him. His prices seem fair, he always strikes me as very honest which I appreciate, and he's on the top of my list of ppl to work with in this area!

After being discouraged by the high price of other sawyers, a coworker recommended Brendan. His price was very reasonable. He and 2 helpers drove 2 hours and milled 12 oak logs, 20-30" x 9-14' in a single day. They gathered the logs from around my property with their bobcat. I'm thrilled to have large timbers from my own yard to build a pavilion.

We contacted Brendan on Facebook market place to get cedar for our Sauna! He was very professional, quick to respond, and very knowledgeable! My boys had a blast exploring while my husband and Brendan loaded the wood and talked! He was super friendly! We will definitely be back for more of our projects!

What an awesome company to work with! The experience was fantastic from my very first call. Brendon guided me through the process and let me know what to expect from the very beginning. When it took longer then expected for the tree to be taken down he checked in with me to see how things were progressing. He gave me the correct verbiage to tell the group who cut down the tree so it could be most efficiently milled later. He is truly customer focused. He will give all the advice you ask for but will also do what the customer wants with their logs. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to convert logs to lumber.
